Lavlesh Tiwari, 22, Mohit, 23, and Arun Maurya, 18, all from Banda, were detained by police personnel who were accompanying the Ahmad brothers at the time of the event when they opened fire. According to the news agency PTI, Tiwari was hurt in a crossfire that also injured a police officer.

LAVLESH TIWARI
406 incidents of hooliganism and brawling have been reported against Lavlesh. Sources informed News18 that Lovelesh’s father is a driver and that their family rents a home.
According to the story, Lavlesh Tiwari hails from a totally different family than his own. Two of Lavlesh’s brothers are priests, while the other is still a student, according to a neighbour who was quoted as stating that the Tiwari family is straightforward. However, it stated that Lavlesh had engaged in illegal activity and had previously served time in prison, including for eve-teasing.
Lavlesh, according to the neighbour, also wanted to become well-known in the criminal underworld.
After the event, Lavlesh’s mother was seen sobbing as she talked to the news organisation ANI, saying, “Don’t know what was written in his destiny.” He was a devout man who frequently went to temples to have darshan. Since he left the house, we have not spoken to him. Additionally, his phone was off.
Yagya Tiwari, Lavlesh’s father, has claimed that he is unaware of his son’s involvement in the killing of the criminals. Yagya said that he and his family just witnessed the occurrence on television and were unrelated to it.
Lavlesh had not been residing with the family and had not been involved in their domestic issues, according to Yagya. Yagya also disclosed that he hadn’t spoken to Lovelesh in a while. He further said that a case against Lovelesh has already been filed and that Lovelesh has previously served time in prison.

Tiwari is accused of selling illegal alcohol as well as allegedly harassing and manhandling women at the City and Beberu police stations in Banda, according to a statement made public by Special DG (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar. Additionally, he is accused of violating the Information Technology Act.
MOHIT ALIAS SUNNY
Sunny got freed from prison six months ago and is allegedly connected to a significant gang. He was well-known to have worked with the infamous Sunder Bhati gang and had been away from home for 12 years.
Mohit, also known as Sunny, is from Kurara, where one of his neighbours informed PTI that he had not been residing there for the previous ten years. The neighbour claimed that Sunny was a typical young man before being engaged in a fight that led to him being jailed, at which point his mindset altered.
Mohit departed Kurara after a few events and spent around a year in the Hamirpur prison. The neighbour added that Mohit left Kurara and never came back since he had joined the criminal underworld.
The brother of the suspected shooter Sunny Singh, Pintu Singh, claimed that Sunny was unemployed and tended to “wander around.” Pintu claimed that they were independent of one another and that he was unaware of Sunny’s involvement in illegal activities.
Pintu additionally said that he was not in communication with Sunny and that neither he nor his family knew about the shooting event.
The Uttar Pradesh police stated on Sunday that Sunny is a seasoned offender and is referred to as a “history-sheeter” based on the evidence currently available. In Hamirpur, he is facing charges in a total of 14 criminal offences, including attempted murder, robbery, murder, and drug trafficking.
ARUN MAURYA
According to sources, Arun Maurya, also known as Kalia, has been named in more than three criminal cases, including the 2014–15 murder of a GRP constable. He was sentenced to time in prison for his role in the murder case.
After the shooting, Maurya’s neighbours in Kasganj spoke to the news agency and expressed horror. We now know that the suspected shooter’s parents have passed away. Two of Maurya’s brothers are allegedly involved in Delhi’s scrap industry, according to the neighbours.
The neighbours also asserted that nobody in the area was aware of Maurya’s location or his actions. He seemed to have departed the community around ten years ago, and they had no idea where he was today.
According to the UP police, Maurya’s criminal history is presently being looked into.
Assailants Wanted to Make a ‘Name for Themselves’ with Atiq Ahmed’s Murder
The three males have been accused by the police of murder, attempted murder, and breaking the Arms Act. At least two guns were found at the shooting scene during the inquiry.

According to reports, one of the suspects confessed to the authorities that they had been plotting to kill Atiq and Ashraf ever since they found out they were being held in detention. “We had been preparing to kill Atiq and Ashraf ever since we learned that they were being held in prison by the police. So we pretended to be journalists, and when the time was perfect, we acted on the plan, the accused informed the police.

Before abruptly drawing their firearms, the three attackers had joined the gathering of reporters who were attempting to elicit quotes from the two criminals.
According to sources, the gun used to kill Atiq Ahmad and his brother Ashraf was a Zigana handgun produced in Turkey. It is thought that illegal shipments of this kind of handgun enter India from Pakistan.
Constable Man Singh suffered an arm injury during the shooting, and a journalist also suffered injuries after collapsing during the ensuing ruckus. PTI published this information on Saturday.
In order to stop any untoward incidents on Sunday, prohibitory orders under section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) have been issued in all districts of Uttar Pradesh. After being halted last night as part of security precautions, internet access has now been restored in several areas of the Prayagraj district.
