Gavin Newsom, governor of California, responded to a question about the fentanyl issue in a terribly casual and dishonest manner.
According to the most recent data from the National Institute on Drug Abuse, fentanyl-related deaths caused more than 70,000 fatalities in 2021.
American towns, families, and lives are being destroyed by the opioid crisis. Every politician in the nation need to consider it their top priority.
When questioned about the fentanyl issue, Gavin Newsom makes a fool of himself.
To address “the state’s ongoing efforts to tackle the fentanyl crisis, homelessness, and other critical issues,” according to Fox News, GAVIN NEWSOM was in San Francisco for a private meeting with cabinet officials.
However, when a passing stranger yelled, “Hey, Gavin, tell me what you going to do about the fentanyl epidemic,” things took a very terrible and unexpected turn.
Now, a wise politician or simply anybody who wants to be regarded seriously may have halted and had a meaningful discussion about the harm that drugs create.
Not at all, according to GAVIN NEWSOM. He hardly paused as he responded in an incredibly dismissive manner and gave the impression that he didn’t care.
“We are here for that reason. JJ, what should I do? What would you like? Please let me know what we need to do. When questioned about his strategy, the Democrat lawmaker said, “That’s why I’m here.

The way Newsom responded should make him feel bad.
The fentanyl issue is not one of the topics about which it is appropriate to be flippant. Fentanyl is responsible for tens of thousands of deaths annually. And thousands more succumb to addiction and are drawn into a deadly circle.
Fentanyl has devastated every state in America, and California is by no means an exception.
According to the California authorities, fentanyl caused the deaths of 5,722 persons in the state in total in 2021. In 2021, fentanyl caused the deaths of more than 200 youngsters between the ages of 15 and 19. A crisis without words exists.
However, Newsom, who has strong ambitions to become president, didn’t appear to care. The most influential man in California actually acted as though he was being burdened.
It even appeared that Newsom was smiling and laughing at one point. Is there a joke that the rest of us are missing about the fentanyl crisis?
Gavin Newsom is seeking the presidency. He’s not particularly bashful about it because that’s his ultimate objective. He makes the effort to go to Florida to criticise Ron DeSantis because of this. He’s not acting at all like a man who should be taken seriously and who intends to travel to opioid-affected areas, though. This was the worst response he could have gotten out of all of them. Keep your lips quiet and listen if you don’t have a wonderful response. Don’t insult or scoff at a man who is inquiring about an illness that is killing Americans from coast to coast.
