The US Coast Guard reported that three Americans who were travelling from Mexico to California vanished on April 4. From Mexico to California, William Gross, Frank O’Brien, and Kerry O’Brien were on a boat. On April 6, they were supposed to make a stop in Cabo San Lucas for supplies, but they never showed up.
Authorities are looking for three American sailors who vanished earlier this month off the coast of Mexico.
A 44-foot sailboat called “Ocean Bound” was home to the sailors Kerry O’Brien, Frank O’Brien, and William Gross, the US Coast Guard said. The three Americans had set sail for San Diego, California, from Mazatlan, Mexico.

The gang was supposed to stop at Cabo San Lucas on April 6, according to the US Coast Guard, but there is “no record” of their arrival.
In response to unsuccessful sightings of the yacht, “search and rescue coordinators have contacted marinas throughout Baja, Mexico,” according to the statement. All seafarers have been asked to keep an eye out for the missing people and vessel in urgent maritime information broadcasts that have been made over VHF radio.
The US Coast Guard requested that anybody with information about the missing sailors phone 510-437-3701 immediately.

The US Coast Guard and the Mexican Navy are collaborating to find the group, the statement said.

They vanished a month after gunmen abducted four Americans who had entered Mexico from Texas and were in Matamoros.
According to family relatives, they came to the area for a cosmetic treatment. Two of them were slain by gunmen, while the rest were let go. In an interview with CNN last week, the survivors spoke candidly about their experiences, revealing that their kidnappers had held guns to their heads throughout the ordeal.
