They might not even be in Coachella, but they’re not living their best lives there.
Loren Grey, a musician and TikToker, claims that a lot of influencers pretend to attend the Coachella music event.
In a TikTok video that was released over the weekend and has already received over 2.5 million views, Grey, 20, detailed the purported phenomena.
pretend to attend Coachella
She began the video by stating that she finds the idea to be “hilarious” and that she wanted to share it with others because she had not heard of anybody else discussing it.
She remarked to her 54 million followers, “Coachella’s like the influencer olympics, right?” It is the location to be. However, a significant number of influencers don’t even attend Coachella, which I find to be a crazy truth.
The singer of “Piece of Work” went on to say that some of these celebrities will just travel to Indio, California, the location of the music festival, and stay in an Airbnb.
She said that instead of really attending the event, they would dress up, get their cosmetics done, and take pictures.
They simply drive their tiny butts out to the desert to create TikToks, shoot Instagram shots, get ready with me videos, and other things, she asserted, without wristbands.
Then they return by car, and that is all.
Grey urged viewers not to experience FOMO (a.k.a. “fear of missing out”) or feel “sad” at the conclusion of the 49-second short because many of the social media stars you follow aren’t actually present.
She said, “I thought people knew about it because it’s like a very common occurrence, but then I didn’t see anyone talking about it, so now you know.”
Grey was contacted by The Post for comment.

It garners attention for the outrageous attire individuals don and other celebrity-related incidents, like the time Paris Hilton’s security was spotted pursuing her around the festival grounds the previous year.
Headliners for the occasion this year are Charli XCX, BLACKPINK, Blondie, and Bad Bunny.
Many individuals stated in the comments section of Gray’s video that they had never considered the likelihood of these accusations.
One individual wrote, “This seems so obvious and yet I had no idea lol.”
Another person expressed the same opinion in a comment that said, “I was just wondering how they all get ready by like noon and still be “late” and catch the set at midnight lmao.”
Others even said that seeing the video helped them feel better about missing the event.
Another said, “Never felt better about being broke.”
I really appreciate you telling us this, another person added.
