Twins were discovered unconscious in a Porter Ranch home’s backyard pool on Thursday. At 10:34 am, responding cops showed up at the family’s backyard pool, where they discovered the four-year-old kids. The Mayor’s Crisis Response Team was dispatched to the family for aid shortly after the distress call was placed.
As soon as possible, paramedics took the kids to the hospital and tried to save their lives in whatever way they could. The series of occurrences that took place that day in the pool at the Porter Ranch residence are still unknown to the police. The occurrence was referred to by police as a “tragic accident.” Additionally, LAFD Capt. Erik Scott urged everyone to improve pool safety.
While one of the Porter Ranch twins was declared deceased, the other is still in serious condition.
On Thursday at about 10:34 am, responding police officers and the Los Angeles Fire Department went to a home in Porter Ranch in response to a complaint of two unconscious children in a backyard pool. Before paramedics arrived at the house in the 10000 block of Des Moines Avenue, according to LAFD authorities, they provided CPR instructions to the distressed family.
As soon as police got on the scene, they transported the kids to the neighbourhood paediatric trauma centre. One of the children was in a serious condition, according to NBC Los Angeles, while the other was declared dead at the hospital. The police looked into the situation, but they didn’t find any indications of criminal activity.
Captain Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department stated:
It’s crucial to urge pool owners to practise these four precautions, especially as summer approaches. The first step is to protect your pool with the proper barriers, the second is to assign a water watcher while children are swimming, the third is to check the water first if a child is missing in the house and the fourth is to learn CPR.

Our paramedics are frantically striving to give these kids every opportunity. Tragically, the hospital declared one of the youngsters dead. The other is still seriously ill.
