At Estadio Universitario, Tigres will host Motagua for the second leg of their CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal match.
The home team is in control of the match after winning the first leg in Honduras by a score of 1-0 last week. The Mexicans took the lead thanks to a goal from Luis Quinones in the 44th minute.
Following their triumph on the continent, Tigres suffered a 2-1 Mexican Liga MX loss at home to Mazatlan. Sebastian Cordova scored what turned out to be a consolation goal in the 72nd minute after Miguel Sansores and Francisco Venegas had given the visitors a two-goal lead in the first half.
In contrast, Motagua enters the contest fresh off a 1-0 away victory against Vida in the Honduran Liga Nacional. Juan Delgado’s last-second goal gave his team the victory and all three points.
They will concentrate on the continent in an effort to reach the semifinals. In the last four, the victor of this tie will take on either Violette or Club Leon.

Motagua vs. Tigres Prediction
Despite their present consistency issues, Tigres came into this game as the favourite and showed it in the first leg. They have an edge in the tie thanks to their close victory in Honduras, and the Mexicans will want to win it in front of their supporters.
For their side, Motagua will continue to believe they can overcome a one-goal disadvantage. They’ll probably play conservatively to limit the number of goals they let up while attempting to surprise their opponents.
We are betting on the home team to win by a slim margin and keep a clean sheet since Tigres has recently played in low-scoring games.
