Rick Ross, a rapper, record mogul, and producer, has just accumulated a ‘$5 billion’ private plane. Ross declared that although it was his first plane, it probably wouldn’t be his last when introducing his new acquisition.

The Grammy-nominated performer, who spends a sizable portion of his $55 million fortune on things with wheels, calls himself a car collector and aficionado.

At his Atlanta house, he recently held his very own auto exhibition where he displayed all of the more than 100 vehicles in his collection.

The enormous new jet owned by Rick Ross has seating for 18 passengers.

Ross had it rearranged to make it more spacious even though it was originally intended to have 20 seats.

In relation to that, the jet has been completely customised, with soft leather seats and a striking livery on the exterior.

Even actor-wrestler Dwayne Johnson and German fashion designer Philipp Plein made comments.

This particular aircraft is a 2012 Gulfstream G550.

Actually, Wells Fargo—the bank—bought it brand-new before being acquired by one of Rick Ross’ businesses, called “Maybach Air,” in 2023.

The German automaker Maybach is a great favourite of the 47-year-old; in fact, his record company, Maybach Music Group, is named after it.

However, we’re not entirely clear what Rick Ross means when he refers to it as a “$5 billion jet.”

A Gulfstream G550 can cost anything from $15 million to $40 million.
