The Flash premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, June 12 saw the elusive Ezra Miller, 30, walk the red carpet! The divisive and troubled star was spotted in pictures and videos wearing a white jacket with two huge pendants and a beige, lace-lined poet’s shirt underneath. They wore their hair long with side braids, a small tuft of hair put into a bun, and a neatly sculpted goatee to complete the look. They also donned a pair of black dress pants.

Despite a slew of legal issues and shocking accusations of violent behaviour and theft over the past year, the Fantastic Beasts actor appeared at ease and confident when posing for photos at the major event. Even though the movie is scheduled for a broad release on June 16, the celebrity has largely remained hidden from the public eye. Between March and April 2022, Ezra, who prefers the pronouns they/them, was detained twice. The first arrest followed allegations of a physical brawl at a karaoke club in Hawaii, and accusations of disorderly conduct and harassment were brought against him.

They were detained once more in Hawaii a few weeks later, in April 2022, for reportedly hurling a chair at a woman. A $500 fine resulted from a plea agreement. Only a few months later did they come under fire for allegedly “harassing” Tokata “Gibson” Iron Eyes, 12, whose parents had brought a Massachusetts temporary harassment prevention order against Ezra.

“Ezra controls a young teenage Tokata using assault, intimidation, threat of violence, terror, psychosis, delusions, and drugs. Tokata was brainwashed by Ezra. According to court documents, Ezra Miller made sure Tokata had no phone and gave one of his employees her bank card. The child rebuffed the parents’ claims and instead levelled them at them when the injunction was granted.

The youngster wrote on Instagram, “My father and his charges hold no weight and are plainly transphobic and founded on the premise that I am somehow incapable of cogent thought or opposing opinions to those of my own parents worrying about my well-being. “I now understand the extent of the emotional and psychological abuse I was subjected to while living at my parents’ house.”

The Perks of Being a Wallflower star’s arrest in August 2022 and subsequent burglary charge brought the situation to a head. They were accused of stealing alcohol bottles from a home in Stamford, Vermont, several months prior to that incident.

Ezra gave Variety a statement on August 15, 2022, stating that they had started treatment to address their persisting and growing problems. After going through a recent period of acute crises, they declared, “I now realise that I am dealing with complex mental health issues and have started receiving ongoing treatment.” “I want to apologise to everyone that my previous actions may have shocked or disturbed. I’m determined to putting in the effort required to return to a stage of my life that is safe, secure, and productive.

They agreed to a plea bargain in January 2023, and their lawyer also released a statement. “Ezra Miller pled guilty this morning to a misdemeanour unlawful trespass in Vermont Superior Court and accepted the conditions imposed by the court,” their counsel said at the time, according to Variety. “Ezra would like to thank the court and the community for their trust and patience throughout this process. They would also like to acknowledge the love and support they have received from their family and friends, who continue to be an important part of their ongoing mental health,” the statement reads.

In April 2023, only a few weeks before the release of The Flash, director Andy Muschietti voiced his support for the troubled performer. During a Q&A, he declared, according to Entertainment Weekly, “Ezra is now well.” “We’re all hoping for their recovery… They are beginning their road to recovery. Despite having mental health problems, they are in good health. They’re highly committed to improving, as we just discovered when we spoke with them.
