On Monday, a shooter opened fire at an Old National Bank location in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, leaving five people dead and at least nine more wounded.
Interim According to Louisville Metro Police Chief Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel, the shooter died at the scene as well. Although the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms raided a Taylor Avenue residence on Monday afternoon as part of the investigation, police have not yet released a motive.
Police officers made the announcement late on Monday night regarding a fifth victim.

Elliott worked at Old National Bank as a senior vice president of commercial real estate. Gov. Andy Beshear described Elliott as a close friend who assisted him in starting his legal career during a press conference on Monday.
age 40 Josh Barrick
According to his LinkedIn profile, Barrick served as Old National’s senior vice president of commercial real estate banking for a little less a year.
He previously held a similar position at WesBanco before transferring to Old National in August 2022. He has approximately 20 years of experience in the banking industry. One of Louisville Business First’s 20 Persons to Know in Banking for 2020 was Barrick.
Jim Tutt Jr., 64, James “Jim”
According to his LinkedIn page, Tutt was the commercial real estate market executive for the southern area at Old National Bank. He joined the business in January 2015.
David Voegele, the executive of Oldham County Judge, was familiar with Tutt because of his time serving on the board of the Oldham-La Grange Development Authority from 2011 to 2022, including several years as its chair.

45 Juliana Farmer
According to Farmer’s 45-year-old LinkedIn profile, she worked as a loan analyst for the bank.
The most recent update on a Facebook profile that looks to belong to Farmer was from Sunday and said that she will be welcoming another grandchild in September.
She wrote, “My (heart) is so joyful!!!” “Grand #5 is coming.”
Farmer had recently relocated to Louisville, according to a different Facebook post from Michael Williams, who identified himself as her uncle.
Williams writes, “She informed me she was relocating to Louisville, she had a terrific employment chance.” “We are now in grief over your passing on the job. I’m only hurt.”
(57) Deana Eckert
According to Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis, Eckert passed away on Monday night. She had been admitted to the hospital earlier that day after the shooting, which also claimed the lives of the shooter and five other individuals.
According to Eckert’s public Facebook profile, she graduated from Western Kentucky University and works as an executive administrative officer for the bank.
