Elon Musk, a billionaire, has promoted Twitter as a “collective super-intelligence” that may be humanity’s last line of defence against the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) since purchasing the social networking service for $44 billion.

Musk has defended this claim by pointing out that Twitte r has “a lot of room for improvement” and that there are billions of bidirectional conversations on the platform every day.

Musk recently made a new comment in which he claimed that needed more signal and less noise in order to function as a “collective mind”.

On Tuesday, the CEO of used his official microblogging channel to communicate with his over 136 million followers.

Musk stated that “the platform’s collective mind needs more signal & less noise.”

Within minutes after writing this, the CEO also said that verified accounts will henceforth be preferred. Musk’s most recent tweet hinted to new features, improvements, and changes coming to the microblogging network.

meanwhile, this week removed the blue tick symbol from accounts that do not pay the $8 monthly fee for the microblogging service. The blue tick, however, inexplicably reappeared for several prominent accounts with a sizable following.

Some well-known users have criticised this decision and Musk’s irregular modifications to the social media platform.
The blue tick used to appear on once the social networking site had confirmed that users were who they claimed to be. On the platform, this technique was utilised to stop impersonation and the dissemination of false information.

But thanks to Musk, anyone can subscribe to Blue for as little as $8 per month. Other than validating a phone number, it no longer indicates that a person is verified, but it does offer a variety of perks, one of which is the potential to have more people view their tweets.
